Place ingredients in blender and blend on high for 1 minute.
This drink is also excellent hot Photo shows served hot. Blend ingredients on high (but omit ice cubes). Heat blended mixture on stove or in microwave.
You can soften the dates in the milk for 2 hours if you prefer. I like the little chunks of dates you get if you don't. Gives the drink a little texture.
Play with the spices and really make this drink your own. I like a little sprinkle of cinnamon on top and an extra helping of cocoa.
